Glassbrooks solicitors is a small but highly professional team based in Lytham St. Annes on Sea, Lancashire with a client base across England & Wales.

Nick Glassbrook started the business in 1999 with the aim of being able to help take the stress out of any legal worries you may have. Chris Moore first joined the business in 2012 subsequently took over the practice in 2018.

Our ethos is to provide a personal service in a professional manner. We expect you to be able to speak to whoever is handling your matter whenever you need to. We do not have secretaries to get past. We do not have a voice message system where no-one ever returns your calls. If you cannot get to us then we will come to you if needed.

Chris Moore

Solicitor & Director

Chris qualified as a solicitor in 2015, became a director and shareholder of Glassbrooks Solicitors in 2016, and then ultimately took over Glassbrooks Solicitors in 2018.

Chris is an experienced solicitor with a broad practice spanning litigation and a wide range of other legal matters. Known for providing practical, commercially focused advice, Chris is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for both individuals and businesses. Combining strong legal expertise with a client-focused approach, Chris is dedicated to delivering clear guidance, effective representation, and exceptional service at every stage of a client’s legal journey.

When Chris isn’t working, he can be found spending time with his young children, watching the Formula 1, or on holiday.

Ashleigh Taylor

Solicitor & Director

Ashleigh qualified as a Solicitor in 2018. She joined the firm in the Summer of 2023 and practices in the areas of Divorce and Matrimonial Finances, Dispute Resolution and Litigation.

Ashleigh is committed to providing sensible, solution driven advice and to finding constructive outcomes which meet with her clients’ long-term interests.

When she is not in the office, Ashleigh enjoys reading, travel and spending time with her family.

Xara Warren

Paralegal

Xara is a Paralegal at Glassbrooks, having joined the firm in the Spring of 2025. She assists Chris Moore and Ashleigh Taylor in the Litigation, Family and Private Client departments, with a predominant focus within the Private Client department, working on probate files, and drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney documents.

When she is not working or studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams, Xara enjoys reading and spending time with her family and pets.

Legal Executive

Leanne joined Glassbrooks as Conveyancing Assistant in 2021 and assists with all areas of residential and commercial conveyancing.
